Wataha is a post apocalyptic LARP faction. It's origins lie in poland (hence the name, translated to "wolf pack"). This is also why we have two parts, Wataha Germany and Wataha Poland. Wataha formed itself on the Oldtown Festival, and was revised in 2016, with 4 polish members and 6 german members. Since then, Wataha Germany grew from time to time and is now 26 people strong, men and women.
We are a faction for many interests. Since we invited friends of all kinds into our group, we didn't want them to be limited to a certain aspect of wasteland life. We have a military, diplomatic, civil and religious department, as well as a secret service. People who like civil life, trading, jobbing, socializing, can partake in our civil department. People who like fighting can partake in our military department. People who like to manage political intrigues and affairs can partake in our diplomatic department. And people who follow a religious belief can partake in our religious department.
Most of our members are followers of the KHAN, but it is also possible to be in another religious system of belief and join the releigous department. It just didn't happen till now.
On other festivals you can see that we are very close to each other. We stand side by side and help each others out whenever nescessary. On our own festival, Oldvillage (OV), we are very corrupt and selfish towards each others, due to a lack of enemies on a daily basis. But there is a lot of fun in it as well.
We are hosting a festival, OV, and an offgame party, called Hannukhan, every year. Both are exclusive to Wataha, guests, which are handpicked, and factions we grew together with in a manner of friendship. This is due to the fact that we are not interested in commercialisation of our events, and want to keep them clean and cozy.
We run OV since 2020 (as a copium for the Oldtowns we couldn't attend), and it grew to our own event since then. Since 2022 we host it on a professional airsoft field, with bunkers and stuff.
